Sleep is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle. The mind’s tendency to get caught up in thoughts is perhaps strongest at bedtime when we suddenly stop and be still. This mindfulness meditation will help you to relax and fall aleep more easily. You can also listen to this meditation if you wake up during the night and find it difficult to go back to sleep. Sometimes it can be difficult to sleep when your head is full of thoughts, worries about the future or regrets about the past. By practicing awareness of the present moment, you will more easily let go of these thoughts. One way is to focus your attention on your body and experience the sensations in your body at the present moment. If your attention wanders off and you begin to worry about things or plan tomorrow, just become aware of this and give yourself a new chance, a new moment to focus on your body and to be in the present moment. Our brain has the ability to change and adapt as a result of experience and we can exercise our brain just as we exercise the muscles in our body. The more you listen to this mindfulness meditation the easier and quicker it will be for you to become relaxed. This meditation will help you to train your brain, help you to focus and let go of any thoughts that drain your energy. Instead, you will be able to relax, fall asleep more easily and sleep much better.
