Rekamaðurin

Róligur, Sámal Mathias, róligur. Løtan er komin. Tann ringasta av øllum, og tað er eitt av tveimum: høvdið á blokkin ella Amerika fyri stavn.Rist ikki so á hondunum, vinurin, minst til orðini hjá Kristjani fjórða aftan á slagið við Femern. Hann var særdur 23 ferðir, men fór á føtur, treiv um svørðið og rópti: Væl eri eg særdur, men ikki hættisliga. Slíkt eru menn, Sámal Mathias, teir hokna ikki, um onkur andar á teir, og far nú eftir fløskuni....Relax, Sámal Mathias, calm down. The moment has come. The worst of all moments, and the choice stands between two options: stick your neck out or set sails for America.Stop shaking your head, my friend. Remember the words of Christian IV following the battle of Fehmarn. He was injured 23 times, but got back on his feet, clutched his sword and roared: I may be injured, but not fatally so. Those were men, Sámal Mathias, they did not drop from a mere blow, now go get the bottle.
