Ikki fyrr enn tá

Tey eru eydnurík saman, men sum tíðin gongur, varnast hann, at hon broytir atburð og verður fremmand og øðrvísi. Hon megnar ikki arbeiðsuppgávurnar, og á arbeiðsplássinum eru tey ørkymlað. Hon verður kannað, og staðfest verður, at hon hevur illkynjaðan knykil í heilanum.Hvussu livir tú við tí, at kvinnan, tú elskar, hvørvur frá tær í smáum? ...They are happy together, but with time, he notices her behaviour changing. She grows distant, different. She is unable to fulfil her work duties, and her colleagues are worried. She is examined, and the doctors confirm that they have located a malignant tumour in her brain. How do you manage, when the woman you love is slowly disappearing? What do you do, when the one you love and live with changes personality? She dies, and in addition to the grief brought on by the loss of his wife, self-pity gives him an excuse to drink away his sorrow. His previously supressed urge to drink is released; he now has a reason, anyone would understand. But one day, life must continue with its day-to-day chores, and how will he manage his life then?Is it possible to come to terms with life, when circumstances have fundamentally changed? Is it possible to come to terms with the grief and move on with life?
