साधना प्रकाशन, पुणे. 1939 ते 2020 असे 80 वर्षांचे आयुष्य लाभलेले स्वामी अग्निवेश हे आर्य समाजातील नेते, आणि वेठबिगार कामगारांचे नेते म्हणून सुरुवातीच्या काळात प्रसिद्धीला आले. मात्र नंतरच्या अर्धशतकात त्यांनी अनेक प्रकारच्या सामाजिक चळवळीं व आंदोलने यामध्ये सहभाग घेतला वा पाठिंबा दिला. त्यांच्याशी विनय हर्डीकर यांचा आलेला संबंध साधारणतः दशकभर इतका अल्प, पण अधिक जवळचा होता..त्यातून हर्डीकर यांना स्वामी अग्निवेश यांच्या व्यक्तिमत्वाचा जो परिचय झाला तो अतिशय रोचक व रोमांचक पद्धतीने या लेखात उतरला आहे.. स्वामीजींच्या व्यक्तिमत्वाचा वेध घेणारा अशा प्रकारचा लेख भारतातील अन्य कोणत्याही भाषेत क्वचितच लिहिला गेला असेल..स्वामीजींचे निधन झाले तेव्हा हा लेख साप्ताहिक साधना च्या 2020 च्या दिवाळी अंकात प्रसिद्ध झाला आहे. मुळात हे रेकॉर्डिंग आधी करण्यात आले आणि नंतर त्याचे शब्दांकन करून लेख तयार केला गेला.

Sadhana Publication, Pune Swami Agnivesh had a journey of 80 years from 1939 to 2020. At an early age, he was a prominent leader of the Arya Samaj and a representative of daily wage labourers. However, in the latter half of the century, he participated in various social movements and agitations. Vinay Hardikar's relationship with him was generally short, precisely for a decade, perhaps close one. The article by Vinay Hardikar provides an introduction to Swami Agnivesh's personality. It is interestingly written, creating excitement in readers. On demises of Swamiji, the article was published in the 2020 Diwali issue of the Weekly Sadhana.
