Essentiel bog til at løfte sig videre for dem, der er opvokset i hjem med følelsesmæssigt umodne forældre.

This was very new to me, although I've been researching a lot of phycology. It was very concise and every chapter has a short summery, and many examples. It described what emotional immaturity is, how to recognize it, what it means to grow up with it, and which reaction-patterns children will usually develop. The reason I give 4 and not 5 stars. Is that she paints it very black and white. This might be a help if you really struggle to recognize this as a problem, but it means that some of the subtler signs are ruled out. For example she claims that every emotional immature parent are incapable of showing empathy and is always a sort of bully. This, I know, is not true. Instead she could have claimed that when a parent act accordingly to their emotional immature sides, they become unable to show empathy, in those moments.I hope the next books are more focused on solving some of the problems (as the titles promise) because this book is mainly descriptive.

Quite an interesting way of looking at your own childhood and a chance for understanding the behavior of yourself and others. I do believe that some of the described ways of being/doing/thinking in the examples is very similar to the symptoms of undiagnosed ADHD though. Very pleasant reader.
