Ramayana is one of the greatest epics. It is ascribed to Maharishi Valmiki. It narrates the life-story of Rama, a legendary prince of Ayodhya city in the kingdom of Kosala. The holy scripture was rendered into prose in Telugu by Sripada Subrahmanya Sastry. Sripada translated all Khandas (parts) in Telugu in his style. The sixth one is Yuddha Khanda. In this part, the story runs through the war. The part showcases Vibhishana advising Ravana about Lord Srirama and Ravana paying a deaf ear. The part also tells about the war between Rama and Ravana where Rama kills Kumbhakarna, Hanuman brings Sanjeevani for Lakshmana, and Rama kills Ravana. Vibheeshana's pattabhishekam, Seetha devi's entry into the fire, and Lord Sriram's Pattabhishekam are also included in this part.
