President Trump on Wednesday hinted that US and Iran talks could resume in the next few days, and in an interview with Fox Business said the war was, in his words, very close to over. On Capitol Hill, there were multiple votes taken led by Democrats to stop the president from waging war with Iran, all of which were blocked by Republicans in the majority. Police Shoot Alleged Kidnapper In Omaha
There was panic at a WalMart in Omaha, Nebraska when a woman brandished a large kitchen knife and tried to kidnap a 3-year-old boy, forcing the child and his babysitter out of the store. Joan Jones reports that when police arrived, she slashed the boy’s face in the store parking lot before police shot and killed the suspect.
