General Fired

ICE Training
Acting-Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons said the agency has received more than 100,000 applications for open positions as it ramps up staffing under the Trump administration. As correspondent Donna Warder reports, ICE is planning to hire another 10,000 people before the end of the year, and offering incentives and training so these future agents can be ready to take to America’s streets.
Tariff Changes
Following a call between President Trump and Mark Carney, the Canadian Prime Minister announced he will match the US and remove retaliatory tariffs on a number of US-made goods, specifically covered under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement. Lisa Dwyer reports that both sides see this as a win for each nation.
