Herbert George Wells (1866–1946) was an English writer best known for his pioneering works in science fiction. H.G. Wells’ short story The Man Who Could Work Miracles follows George McWhirter Fotheringay, an ordinary man who suddenly discovers he has the ability to perform miracles at will. Initially skeptical, he experiments with small tricks before realizing the true extent of his power.
