For years, Daejon Love allegedly convinced women he met online that he was a wealthy NFL player for the San Francisco 49ers. With luxury cars, an impressive social media presence and investment opportunities that promised huge returns, authorities say Love built an elaborate persona that helped him gain the trust of women across multiple states. But behind the lifestyle was allegedly a sprawling romance and investment scam that saw multiple women lose a combined $1.3 million. In this episode, we unravel how the alleged scheme worked and share the experiences of some of the women who have since come forward.
