Episode 1: Meet the Team

Royse City, Texas is a small, rural community just east of Dallas. Dennis and Norma Woodruff are found brutally murdered in their own home. Law enforcement descends upon the house of Dennis and Norma Woodruff - and makes a bizarre choice to document the grisly scene. Hilarie, Dan, Po, and Andrew will discuss the bizarre choice made by law enforcement as well as the evidence discovered at the scene of the crime.

Episode 3: The Crime Scene

This week we are diving into the calls law enforcement receives pointing the finger at Norma and Dennis Woodruff’s son, Brandon. But the accusations come before the community even knew a murder happened. How can this be? What is the basis of the accusations and do they have any merit? Hilarie and the team will also be exploring the investigator’s first interviews with Brandon and his sister Charla.

Episode 9: Prison

Pat Chisenhall has always maintained that he acted in self-defense and that he is protected under the Castle Doctrine - a North Carolina law that gives individuals the right to use reasonable force, including deadly force, to protect themselves against an intruder in their home. But after the crime scene is processed and an autopsy is performed… the team questions whether the Castle Doctrine does in fact stand.
