Northwest Arkansas 2017 - a former Police Chief murders a man in cold blood then takes his family out for a nice dinner. Grant Hardin, a man who was relieved of his duties as Police Chief for harassing and threatening the civilians of Gateway, Arkansas was arrested for the murder of James Appleton. Later and to everyone’s surprise, Grant Hardin was charged with another violent crime from 20 years prior. Grant's evil deeds and ways earned him the name “The Devil in the Ozarks.” Grant Hardin was due to likely spend the rest of his natural life behind prison walls but that all changed in May of 2025 when the Devil himself walked out and away from the Arkansas Department of Corrections’ North Central Unit in Calico Rock. 30 minutes later a national fugitive manhunt ensued.

Andrew age 9, Alexander age 7, and Tanner age 5 were taken by the father from his Morenci, Michigan home during the Thanksgiving holiday visitation back in 2010. Their father John, claims the boys were abused by their mother and he was getting them out of a bad situation. However John’s story does not add up. Law Enforcement does not believe him and today John sits behind bars. This week we crack a beer and discuss this stranger than fiction true crime story.

The Zodiac killer used lover’s lanes in Vallejo, a lakeside park and the streets of San Francisco to shoot young couples. In the 70’s and 80’s someone was hunting the young women of Anchorage, Alaska. This week we explore the story of Alaska’s most cold blooded killer - Robert Hansen the Butcher Baker.

www.TrueCrimeGarage.com On January 21st and 22nd of 2017, forty tornadoes touched down in just under forty eight hours in the state of Georgia. The strongest was an EF-3 tornado with winds of one hundred and fifty miles per hour. FEMA and the National Guard were called in to support the rescue efforts. Damage estimates were around one hundred million dollars. Fifteen people died in Georgia and five more in other southern states as a result of these twisters. When the EF-3 tornado hit the Piney Woods Estates Mobile Home Park, two parents claimed the storm took their two year old boy Detrez Green. Join us in the Garage as we take a look at the parents strange story and discuss what really happened to little Detrez.

Carnell Sledge and Katherine Brown were longtime friends. On June 4, 2019 the two met at the Rocky River Reservation, one of Cleveland’s MetroParks. It was a beautiful day and many were out and about. The two arrived separately but at about the same time which was right around 5pm. They found a bench near the river to sit down and have some conversation. Just about twenty minutes later kayaker’s found the two dead. The killer or killers are still at large. Stephen Singular’s 1999 book Presumed Guilty: An Investigation of the JonBenet Ramsey Case, the Media, and the Culture of Pornography is an eye opening read. In which, Singular discusses some of the lesser known characters of the case, his findings, and magnifies the problems with the murder investigation. An updated Kindle version was released in 2016 with new information and some intriguing leads.

Parkersburg, West Virginia - On the evening of December 3, 2022 twenty seven year old Gretchen Fleming went to a popular downtown bar for a night of fun. She has not been seen since. Parkersburg Police and her family have been desperately seeking answers and help trying to locate Gretchen. Now, after the passage of time they all fear the very worst. Police worked diligently and swiftly with their investigation. Evidence brought them to question the actions, movements, and motivations of one man in particular. Police believe that late that night Gretchen’s path crossed with his and law enforcement wants to know what he knows. Parkersburg Police is seeking help from the general public as well. Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders /// Part 1/// 265

Camp Scott was a 410 acre camp operating since 1928. Located near a small town in Oklahoma the camp had facilities for up to 140 children and 30 staff. The camp was most often attended by Girl Scouts. In fact it was marketed to the Girl Scouts as “This is your camp.” After the night of June 13th, 1977 the camp closed forever. What took place that night was horrifying. Parents sent their young, happy daughters to an idyllic two-week camp and they never returned. What was done to those girls can only be described as pure evil. This week we take an in-depth look at the Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders.
