On Friday, July 13th, the quiet town of Panhandle, Texas, where life moved at a gentle pace, was about to be shattered by an event so violent it would be seared into the town's memory forever. This Friday the 13th, was a night that defied the very nature of this peaceful community. Evil didn’t come to the town of Panhandle, it was born there and on this Friday the 13th that evil was on a seek and destroy mission. The chaos began in the dead of night. It was a night filled with murder, mayhem, confusion, and chaos. A night that will forever live in infamy as the night that the curse and the evil of lore became real.

Ashley Flynn, 37, was found dead in the early morning hours of February 16th after officers received a report of a burglary and shooting at a Tipp City home. Her husband and two children were inside the home when officers arrived.

According to Miami County officials, Caleb Flynn, a former American Idol contestant, was taken into custody and charged with murder after investigators say Ashley Flynn’s body was found in their home. Prosecutors have not released details about a motive.

On May 23rd 2016, police responded to a flat where a dead young woman was found by her family. The evidence found at the scene proved this to be a homicide. Police were able to quickly recover CCTV footage from building where the victim had lived alone. The footage showed a man on his way to murder 26 year old Nikki Collingbourne. Next to Nikki's body detectives located fragments of the now infamous murder weapon.

Ohio State Medical Student, Brian Randall Shaffer disappeared without an apparent reason on April 1, 2006. His last known whereabouts was a second-floor campus area bar where he was having drinks with friends. Near the entrance of the Ugly Tuna Saloona just before 2 a.m. Brian is seen on security footage talking briefly with two women. Brian later became separated from his friends who have stated that they assumed that Brian had left and gone home. At the time of his disappearance Brian Shaffer was 6’2” tall and approximately 160 to 165 lbs. He’s a caucasian male with brown hair and hazel eyes. Brian had a Pearl Jam tattoo on his upper right arm and he plays guitar.
