On this episode of They Walk Among America… Within the Glastenbury Mountain, the Long Trail carves its path — a renowned 272-mile hiking trail that winds its way through the length of Vermont, passing over the summit of the mountain. While the area is considered an exceptionally peaceful and beautiful part of the country, a shroud of mystery envelopes its tree-covered depths. Between the years of 1945 and 1950, a phenomenon gripped the idyllic location – a series of mysterious disappearances. All of these people disappeared within a certain area within the mountain, an area which has become known as the “Bennington Triangle”...
