The 40k Lorecast

On todays cast we complete or coverage of the xenos of the
galaxy. Diving again head first into a
ton of super random Xenos that GW has written into the game. Although we do start with the Jokaero, so
that is awesome! Some others are the
Enoulians, Laer, Maug, the Hrud, and others. 
We also talk a bit more about the times the imperium has made deals with
xenos in exchange for technology, and each time they end up killing lots of
imperial citizens, and eventually the xenos.

Episode 73 - Random Xenos of the Galaxy pt 2

On today's cast we begin our coverage of the Blood Angels
Chapter. We start with their origins
under the unification wars. From there
their borderline descent into savagery as they pushed out into the great
crusade. Next we jump to their Primarch
Sanguinius. First with his arrival on
Baal Secundus, and then his growth and rise to be the leader of the moon. That leads us into his unification of his
legion and their repression of their Gene flaw. 
And then we go into the Horus Heresy. 
With the betrayal at Signus prime and their greatest enemy Ka’
Bandha. Then we join them on their quick
detour to make a new imperium, and finally we close out with the Sierge of
Terra and Death of their Primarch.

Episode 1 History of Mankind - Age of Terra, Technology, Strife and the appearence of the Emperor

On this episode we continue our dive into the lore of the Necrons. We pick up as they begin to awaken in the galaxy. One that is very much on fire and getting worse. We dive into the process and phases of a tomb world awakening. From there we dive into some of the incredibly advanced weaponry of the Necrons (including a John rant about what Gauss is and is not!). Then we finish up with what the Necrons are up to in the start of 10th edition.

Episode 31 - The Necrons Pt 2

On today's quite long episode we talk about what is a Space Marine. We realized we could not talk about a Space Marine without also talking about their power armor. Rather than make two short episodes we just did a super long one. 
Today we start by talking about how a Space Marine is recruited, tested, and then turned into a Space Marine. Do at least 2 of the organs serve no function? Yes! We then we dive into what happens when you add a super suit of armor to a super soldier. *Spoiler alert* some of the lore around what can and can not negatively affect a space marine does not line up great with the tabletop rules *cough cough, night fighting. poison weapons, popping smoke, cough cough*

Episode 32 - What is a Space Marine & what is Space Marine Power Armor

On today's episode we dive into the origins of the Ruinous Powers. How the warp went from a tranquil see of power to a nightmare realm that is ravaging the materium. Who's fault was it, how did it happen, why does GW do lame writing that makes no sense on this topic, and more. We then do a shallow dive into each god as we will next be doing deep dives into each of them. Finally we conclude with Chaos Undivided because why wouldn't we take some time to talk about Be'lakor?

Episode 33 - The Gods of Chaos, who they are and where they came from

On Today's episode we take our first of two deep dives into the ruinous powers. Our focus is on Khorne and Tzeentch. Who they are, what they represent, and their defining traits. From there we dive into their daemonic followers and a couple of their more famous units. Lastly we talk about how the Imperium (the inquisition primarily) feel about each god and the level of threat they pose to the Imperium itself.

On today's cast we dive into the key regiments of the Imperial Guard and their origin stories. Tallarn and their wars with chaos. The Valhallans and their incredibly stupid origin story, but incredibly badass war with the Orks. Moridan Iron Guard holding the line against insert all chaos. Armageddon Steel Legion against Angron and then Ghaz (twice). The Catachan's against their own damn planet (every day). The Cadians holding the line against the forces of chaos until the absolute final moment. And of course Kreig blowing up their own planet. *note we decided to wait on Tanith for our cast on Gaunt's Ghosts.
