The 40k Lorecast

On today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the 3rd legion of the Space Marines, the Emperor’s Children. We open with Fulgrim having to clear his possession by the daemon blade. From there we move over to the Fulgrim’s ascension to Daemon Prince. After that we cover the descent of the legion into just partying in the warp. From there we move to the hilariously uselessness of the Emperor’s children at the siege of terra (they did more for the loyalists than the traitors in function). After this we jump to the Emperor’s children post heresy with a focus on Lucius and Fabius Bile. We then close with the return of Fulgrim to the materium and the game of 40K.

Episode 64 - "Where are they now" Primarch edition - the Loyalists

On Today’s cast we start our coverage of the Tau. What they are, where they come from, and their history. We open with the surprise they were to the imperium, going from stone age to plasma in less than 60,000 years. From there we dive into the story of rise of the Tau and the introduction of the Ethereal. Then how the Ethereals changed the Tau into the full Caste structures that helped them rise up at an amazing rate. We then dive into what a Tau is physically and also what is a kroot, and how pointless the vespid are. We then close with the real force behind the Tau the Ethereals.

Episode 66 - The Tau Pt 2 - How they fight, their weapons, and their key leaders.

On Today’s cast we start our coverage of the Space Wolves. We open with the creation of the 6th legion by the emperor and its initial design and function in the Galaxy. From there we move into Leman Russ and his arrival on Fenris, and ascension to the leader of the Space Wolf legion. After this we move onto how an aspirant is chosen and then how they become a Space Wolf. Then we focus on the Space Wolves history from pre-heresy through Leman leaving the galaxy. Our main focus is on how the events of the Horus Heresy affected Leman and by proxy his legion. We close on how Brad broke the Space Wolves with a horrible, horrible list that caused GW to nerf the entire army.

We start with a quick overview of what the Death Watch are and then dive a bit into their two different founding stories (one was way better than the other). After that we talk about how a Space Marine joins the Death Watch, both the official and common practice as well as the Black Shield style. From there we focus a bit more on how the Death Watch function as a fighting force in the imperial forces, with their smaller and more specific goals and actions to achieve great success via tiny events.
