Small Town Murder

This week, in Yankton, South Dakota, the discovery of a headless, handless, footless woman, on top of the ice, in a small river ends a massive search for a woman who vanished. She was last seen by her boyfriend, who has a lot of brain damage, and literally hammers nails into wood, with his bare hands. He also went on a 600 mile adventure, to the same place where the woman's body was found, while she was missing! Coincidence, or horribly cold blooded murder??
 

 
Along the way, we find out that frat boys maybe shouldn't write country songs, that it's actually physically possible to hammer nails with your hands, and that you don't cut the head off of a person that you didn't kill!!

#551 - The Hammer Hands Killer - Yankton, South Dakota

This week, in Kerby, Oregon, a feud between neighbors boils over, when one of the neighbors ends the whole thing, by killing the other man. This is ruled self defense, so the man gets some new neighbors, who he doesn't like much better. Dogs barking, cats using a garden as a litterbox, giant lights, beamed into bedrooms, a property line dispute, chopped down trees, a junk pile, and a makeshift "fence from hell" cause murder to be the only solution. Who will survive the neighbor war??
 

 
Along the way, we find out that you can actually eat acorns, that it's very strange when no one can tell who's right, when people are arguing, and that kill one neighbor, shame on you, kill two neighbors...

He is sent to prison, and earns parole, living a simple reclusive life, until one day, when he surprises everyone by attacking more people, leading to a manhunt, some strange "Satatnic" writings, and a wild conclusion to the story!!
 

 
Along the way, we find out that scarecrows don't scare people, that it's very weird to laminate pages of a Hustler magazine, and that sometimes, you can tell exactly what someone is going to do, based on what they've done in the past!!

#560 - Solving A Murder Puzzle - Chicopee, Massachusetts

This anger turns to an almost cartoon like plot to not only kill, but to dispose of these people in a manner worthy of Looney Toons. All in all, there are foreign accomplices, shootings, burials, explosions, and a full grown African ion, kept as a pet. Did we mention that this story is insane??
 

 
Along the way, we find out that Mormons didn't settle all of Utah, that The Sundance Kid may have died here... or not, and that dynamite is not the most efficient way to get rid of unwanted, non-living human beings!!
