What's the best way to appear like you belong?

This isn't a trick question, a lot of you already know the answer. If you want people to think you belong in a board room, or at head of a sales team then you need to act as if you belong, also known as, "fake it until you make it". This doesn't mean I want you to go out there and lie and manipulate your way into positions.
