Description The European Central Bank and Bank of England followed the Federal Reserve in raising interest rates another 50 basis points this morning. Meanwhile, U.S. retail sales fell 0.6% and two regional measures of U.S. manufacturing activity slipped, as consumers and producers alike feel the brunt of a contracting economy. Stocks are considerably lower on the day, with the NASDAQ down 3.75% as of this writing.
