33-year-old Martha Nolan was found dead just after midnight on a boat in Montauk’s exclusive yacht club in early August. Police have not given any updates on her mysterious death after saying they were awaiting results from her autopsy and toxicology reports. The only witness to it all was a 60-year-old businessman, seen naked and upset running down the dock looking for help, and recent comments from his attorney have only made the story more bizarre and confusing. From the D4vd investigation, to the deaths of Martha Nolan and Anna Kepner, Amy and T.J. will spend this week going over some of the mysterious cases that plagued the headlines in 2025, to see where they are headed in the new year.

The Department of Homeland Security put out a series of posts, one showing screenshots of two emails cancelling reservations of known ICE agents. Even though Hilton quickly distanced itself from the hotel chain in question and apologized along with the hotel’s management company, Hilton stock fell 2.5% on Monday. DHS used incendiary language in its posts, saying Hilton was siding with rapists and murderers and conservative pundits quickly took advantage of the situation on social media calling for a boycott of Hilton hotels and spreading misinformation.

It’s now officially 2026, and there are still no arrests in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, the teenager found dismembered and decomposing in the Tesla owned by singer D4VD back in early August. Despite a few unsubstantiated reports from “police sources” in tabloids, investigators have been radio silent since November when they finally acknowledged the singer was in a romantic relationship with Rivas-Hernandez and is officially a suspect in her death. Ousted President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores made their first court appearance in Manhattan this morning to face narco-terrorism, drug and weapons charges. They two pleaded not guilty, but they managed to get in a few more words than that. While this fascinating scene was unfolding inside the courtroom, two separate factions of demonstrators surrounded the courthouse, some thanking President Trump and some wanting Maduro set free.

Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to solve a double homicide in Columbus, Ohio. 37 year old Dr. Spencer Tepe and his wife, 39 year old Monique Tepe were both found shot to death on December 30th after Tepe failed to show up for work. Police found their two toddlers unharmed in the home, with no signs of forced entry and no weapon left behind.

Killer on the Loose in Ohio; Couple Murdered in Home With Their Kids Inside

After going through hotel security footage, Rosemont Police say Tara Reid’s drink was NOT tampered with while she stepped away for a cigarette. Videos circulating online show the 50-year-old actress out of control and seemingly wasted, eventually taken from the hotel bar in a stretcher to a nearby hospital. Reid says she still believes she was drugged, claiming she only had one glass of white wine that evening. Police and Reid are awaiting any tests that might have been done on Reid while she was hospitalized, but it remains unclear if any results will be made public.
