After 36 hours of trying to reach a verdict, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy trial will return on Friday for their seventh day of deliberations. But we just heard from defense attorney Kevin Reddington who told reporters there will first be an inquiry into the juror who reportedly refused to follow the judge’s instructions on reasonable doubt. Reddington hope that inquiry will be in open court, after his motion to remove the juror was denied this afternoon.

A dramatic turn of events in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial. There was a heated sidebar between the attorneys, the judge and Lindsay Clancy after the jury sent a note saying one juror has refused to follow the judge’s instructions on reasonable doubt. The judge called in each juror, one by one, asked them a question and then read aloud instructions for evaluating reasonable doubt. That wasn’t enough for defense attorney Kevin Reddington who filed a motion to have that one juror removed. The judge denied his motion and sent the jury back to deliberate.

As the jury just headed back into Day 6 of deliberations, it’s hard to imagine there aren’t some heated, emotional back and forth discussions going on as one side tries to convince the other to come to their way of thinking. We took the two extreme options for the jury: Guilty of first degree murder versus Not Guilty by reason of insanity and had our own debate. The problem we so quickly realized, both verdicts have justifiable and verifiable evidence to reasonably back up each outcome.

The jury began deliberating LAST Thursday, and now, a full week later they continue after the judge issued a “Tuey Rodriguez” charge Wednesday afternoon, urging the group to reconsider their positions to try and find consensus. Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington says he’s ready to retry the case as soon as next week if a mistrial is declared, but acknowledged that regardless of the outcome, this case is a tragedy, reminding reporters that jurors have been through a very traumatic event.

It’s hard to believe that after all the drama of the morning and the final “dynamite’ charge from the judge, the jury has agreed to come back on Thursday and try again. Day 6 of deliberations in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial will begin at 9 am tomorrow morning. Reporters inside the courtroom have noted that the jurors look visibly frustrated after nearly 30 hours of deliberations, and if they can’t reach a consensus tomorrow, the judge cannot legally ask them to continue. With that in mind, it appears on Thursday we will either get a verdict, or the judge will be forced to declare a mistrial.

The jury came back from lunch with another note, letting the judge know they remain deadlocked and cannot reach a verdict. The judge issued his second and final instruction to the jury, reading from what’s known as the “Tuey Rodriguez” charge, encouraging jurors to reconsider their positions. It’s a controversial tool that is allowed under Massachusetts state law, but it remains to be seen just how effective it will be, with jurors deliberating now for more than 27 hours over the past five days.

**NOW** Killer Mom Trial VERDICT WATCH: Judge Issues Last Ditch “Tuey Rodriguez” Charge After Jury Reports 2nd Deadlock

A major announcement from the number one syndicated show on TV: ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ is suspending its longtime announcer Jim Thorton after it was “made aware of allegations” stemming from an American Airlines flight back in May. The details are scarce, but reportedly a fellow passenger on Thorton’s flight complained about him to a flight attendant, who then alerted the pilot, who then called law enforcement. Thorton’s reps have denied that he engaged in any illegal conduct and said police determined there was no wrongdoing within five minutes of talking to him. If that’s the case, then why did Sony suspend him? A lot of questions remain to be answered.

Wheel Of Fortune Star Suspended After Pilot Calls Police Over Alleged Plane Incident

56 year old Dawn Light stood before another Massachusetts judge this morning facing the serious charge of juror intimidation after being caught by police filming jurors in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Prosecutors claim the retired nurse and mother was in a restricted parking lot and adamantly denied taking photos of jurors, only for police to find a video of them in her deleted files. Her attorneys claim it was just a misunderstanding, and that Light was only trying to get a picture of Lindsay Clancy.

Shocking Twist in Killer Mom Trial: Woman Has Video of Clancy Jurors

It was a surprisingly short day in court, but it was a powerful one for the defense. Dr. Paul Zeizel told jurors that Lindsay Clancy was suffering from postpartum psychosis and that she had no appreciation for the wrongfulness of her act. Also, the judge in the case ruled a TikToker could not be called as a witness in the case and then abruptly and mysteriously ended court early, saying there was an “unforeseen circumstance” that they “did not see coming.”
