Another day, another accusation by a former girlfriend… and yet Maine Democratic candidate Graham Platner has yet to drop out of his bid for the U.S. Senate and a chance to unseat longtime republican incumbent Susan Collins. 41-year-old Lyndsey Fifield told several news outlets that while they were dating, Platner repeatedly removed condoms without her consent while having sex. The act is known as “stealthing” and is considered a crime in multiple countries and states here in the U.S. and is classified as a form of sexual assault. Platner’s camp is vehemently denying the latest accusations, in addition to a former girlfriend’s claims that he raped her while they were dating, saying they are all politically motivated.

Another Former Girlfriend Accuses Maine Senate Candidate Of Nonconsensual Sexual Conduct

It was a devastating, and yes, embarrassing loss for the U.S. Men last night as they faced off against Belgium in the round of 16 at the World Cup. We were the talk of the world for all the wrong reasons for most of the day and certainly in the hours leading up to the match. Many are now pointing to the added pressure from Trump, who placed a call to the FIFA president , which ultimately led to our star striker being allowed to play despite receiving a red card in the previous game. While having Flo Balogun on the field seemed like an advantage, turns out it wasn’t, and perhaps even shifted the team’s energy knowing the world was outraged by it. Some are pointing out several recent sporting events Trump has attended, that have resulted in losses, including Game 3 of the NBA Finals, where the Knicks lost their only game of the series.

We are waiting for Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner to make it official, now that key supporters are lining up, publicly urging him to drop out of his race to unseat longtime Maine senator Susan Collins. Platner posted a 2 minute video denying explosive, new allegations from a former girlfriend who claims Platner raped her back in 2021 after showing up, uninvited to her home, violent and drunk. Platner cancelled multiple public events over the weekend and announced that he is taking time to reflect on the best path forward, while maintaining his innocence. This is the most egregious accusation against Platner, after several other women stepped forward in the days leading up to his primary, describing “unsettling” behavior from him.

In response, Belgium’s football federation put out a pointed critique of how FIFA has mishandled the process. We’ve also heard from the FIFA president, downplaying President Trump’s call to him asking for a review of the red card, and demanding respect for the committee’s decision to allow Balogun on the field tonight. Meantime, other countries are now asking for the same treatment for their players who have received both red and yellow cards during the tournament.

President Trump was questioned at the Oval Office about the major controversy swirling around tonight’s World Cup matchup between the United States and Belgium. Trump said he personally asked FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the play and the referee’s decision to issue USA star striker Folarin Balogun a red card, meaning he wouldn’t be eligible to play in tonight’s game. Trump added that he knows sports, although he also admitted he didn’t know what a red card was, but claims that he didn’t think what occurred was a foul, but instead was just “two guys running full speed that happened to crash into each other.”

Today is day one of a preliminary hearing expected to last all week for 23-year-old Tyler Robinson. Robinson is facing the death penalty for the September 10th murder of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed while speaking to a crowd of 3 thousand people at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors will be laying out its evidence against Robinson, which will include a video taped statement from Robinson’s former roommate and romantic partner, to convince a judge there is enough proof to go to trial. The hearing, which will resemble a mini-trial, will be live-streamed and will mark the first time Charlie Kirk’s widow Erica and his parents will be face-to-face with Robinson.

Charlie Kirk Accused Killer In Court: Faces Kirk’s Wife And Parents For First Time

The biggest controversy so far in the World Cup has President Trump’s name all over it and the irony isn’t lost on anyone. After Trump put a call into the FIFA president to review a red card given to US star Folarin Balogun, FIFA reversed the decision allowing Balogun to play tonight against Belgium. It’s a move FIFA has not made since 1962 and it’s a for a player who is only considered an American, because of the very right President Trump has been trying to take away: birthright citizenship. Belgium officials have officially appealed FIFA’s reversal, but with just hours to go until the match, it seems likely Balogun will, in fact, be on the field tonight for the United States.

Headlines have been popping up since Friday that Trump may consider adding Sean Diddy Combs to his pardon list in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary. Trump reportedly wants to pardon 250 people for our 250th celebrations. On Friday, Trump pardoned 11 people, most of whom were convicted on emissions violations of the Clean Air Act, but the question remains will he pardon more in the coming days. Diddy’s release date has already been moved up at third time, to February of 2028, but he also has a pending appeal that could either vacate his conviction or drastically reduce his sentencing. That appeals court decision could come at any time, with one of the judges acknowledging it is “an exceptionally difficult case.”

Trump Handing Out Independence Day Pardons, Diddy Wants One

The Department of Justice has until next week to produce several emails and documents with the names of potential Epstein co-conspirators revealed. An independent journalist sued the DOJ to have access to the blacked out names, saying the government is still trying to protect “the very powerful and the very rich.” The ruling states the DOJ has to either produce the unredacted document by July 2nd or explain why the redactions should not be removed. Among the group of documents ordered released, the FBI notes from the unverified allegations of assault by one woman against Trump.
