It’s widely believed this is in direct retaliation for Jimmy Kimmel’s late night joke saying Melania Trump was glowing like an “expectant widow.” White House spokesman Steven Cheung went so far as to post on X that Kimmel is a “sh*t human being” who should be shunned for the rest of his life.

Top DOJ officials just wrapped a news conference following the arraignment of alleged shooter, 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen. Allen is charged with the attempted assassination of President Trump in addition to firearms charges, including discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. More charges are coming his way, but acting Attorney General Todd Blanche couldn’t say whose bullet hit the secret service agent wearing his bulletproof vest, or exactly how Allen was brought to the ground before being arrested.

The First Lady called Jimmy Kimmel a “coward” on X after what she calls his hateful and violent rhetoric. Kimmel made a joke before the White House Correspondents’ dinner where he said Melania was beautiful, like “an expectant widow.” The first lady called on ABC to take a stand and to stop protecting the late night comedian. As of this recording, there is no official response from the Disney owned network, as calls to boycott ABC grow louder on social media.
