How do you deal with persecutions, harshness and insults especially by your family and those close to you?

We may be rattled and burdened by the heavy cross, but Jesus invites us not to give in to discouragement, anger or despair. He foresaw this and is preparing us for it. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is that which is most difficult, because it fosters the virtue of perseverance.

Let us pray for all our suffering brothers and sisters that they may be strengthened with the grace to persevere amidst the difficulties and trials of life.
