In the Philippines, and in other nation throughout the world, today begins a special nine-day novena of Masses in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Let us pray during these Aguinaldo Masses (known as Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi) that we may persevere in faith and that we may walk in the truth the Lord has given us.
