He manipulated his way up the social ladder, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jerry Garcia, and even spoke at the original Earth Day rally. When his girlfriend, Holly, left him on vacation in London to start a new life, Ira intervened in a way that would eventually earn himself the reputation as "The Unicorn Killer".
