In 1934, time runs out for all the high-profile outlaws of the era. The Barker-Karpis Gang commits two more violent robberies – one disastrous – and their most lucrative kidnapping to date, but the FBI is closing in. The gang suffers major losses during a shootout in Florida. One by one, gang members fall until only Alvin Karpis remains. When his time runs out, he becomes one of the celebrity inmates at notorious Alcatraz prison.

BARKER GANG Ep. 6 | “Out of Time”

BARKER GANG Ep. 4 | “99 Problems”

FRANK LUCAS Ep. 6 | “American Gangster”

Two weeks after the attack at Lake Berryessa, the Zodiac shoots and kills a taxi cab driver in San Francisco. Multiple witnesses see the killer, but the police still struggle to find him. The killer sends more letters and now issues threats against school kids in the San Francisco region. At the same time, it appears as though he organizes a stunt with a local TV show. The bizarre TV episode leads to more frustration for police, and more letters from the killer.
