Editorial With Sujit Nair | Modi Govt's Responsible Nation Index, India Ranks 16th Among 154 Nations

Modi government recently released a new ranking index called the Responsible Nation Index (RNI), in which India has been ranked 16th, above several developed nations such as Japan, the US, and New Zealand, on parameters such as ethical governance, social well-being, environmental responsibility and global accountability.

In this episode of 'Editorial', HW News' Managing Editor Mr. Sujit Nair opines that the current dispensation is in denial about the problems the country is currently facing and cites several governance failures and a lack of civic amenities, contradicting the claims made by the rankings about India.
