Police respond to a 911 call in the high society area of the Hampton's at the Montauk Yacht Club, shortly after midnight. Martha Nolan-O'Slattarra's, a fashion designer from Ireland, is found unresponsive on a boat named "Ripple," the yacht is reportedly owned by insurance mogul Christopher Durnan, 60, present at the scene and allegedly ran down the dock screaming for help. Wealthy yacht owner, once accused of fighting and biting a former New York fire fighter, during a tribute concert commemorating 20 years after the 9/11 terror attacks.
 
CPR is attempted by a good Samaritan, but first responders pronounce Martha dead at the scene. Initial autopsy results showed no signs of violence. As rumors swirl of drug overdose, Martha's family strongly denies those claims and rumors of brain cancer, by hiring attorney, Arthur Aidala, to ensure a thorough investigation is performed. 
 
Official cause of death is inconclusive pending toxicology reports.

Chilling New Details on How Travis Decker's Daughters Died as Manhunt Continues | Crime Alert 6AM 08.20.25

Authorities search for a 7-month-old boy reported kidnapped outside a California store by his mother.
 
 Rebecca Haro is outside her vehicle, changing her son's diaper, when she is assaulted from behind and knocked unconscious. When she regained consciousness, baby Emmanuel was gone.
 
San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies used helicopters and K-9s, and the family handed out flyers, looking for Emmanuel Haro, outside Big 5 Sporting Goods in Yucaipa.
 
As the parents plead for their son to be returned, police find inconsistencies in the mom's initial statement. Investigators say they are unable to rule out foul play. Police search the family home and extend the area in search of the missing 7-month-old.

Authorities on Long Island are investigating the mysterious death of New York fashion designer Martha Nolan, an Irish native whose body was discovered aboard a 54-foot yacht in Montauk on August 5th.

Family push for second autopsy for young Irish designer found dead on yacht in United States | Crime Alert 6AM 08.19.25

A new Bryan Kohberger video circulating online sparks concerns of a possible prison leak or an AI creation. The apparent jailhouse video, shot from above, shows Kohberger in a medical cell, hands bright red, placing items on a shelf, and then staring intensely at it. 
 
None of the facilities where Kohberger has been housed have claimed the video came from inside their wards.
 
A statement from IDOC: "We are aware of the videos circulating online and are investigating the matter.While we cannot yet confirm the veracity of the videos, if verified, they are a clear violation of IDOC policy, and the parties responsible will be held accountable, up to and including termination."
 
Prosecutors have long said there was no sexual component to the Kohberger murders, but never-before-seen evidence showed multiple shirtless selfies on Kohberger's phone.
 
Investigators also found Kohberger's sickening internet searches of attacking and raping girls in their sleep. Heather and Jared Barnhart of Cellebrite, experts in digital evidence, were going to testify at trial that Kohberger used search terms for pornography like "passed out," "sleeping," "forced rape," "drugged," and "voyeur." Jared Barnhart says "all of his terms were consistently around non-consensual sex acts."
 
His sleeping rape fetishes raise questions about his plans for the night of the murder. 
 
Kohberger is currently serving four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole at Idaho Maximum Security Institution for the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students—Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle.

KY Mother Confesses to Killing Her 10-Yr-Old, Pleads Not Guilty | Crime Alert 6AM 08.17.25

Layla Santanello, a young mother from Tennessee, has been missing now for over two years. She was last seen June 27, 2023, in a field next to the Americourt Hotel.
 
Employees and guests reported that she appeared erratic and paranoid. Surveillance footage captured Layla walking around the hotel, reportedly knocking on doors and searching for someone.
 
The events leading up to her disappearance began on June 24, three days earlier. Jennifer Santanello, Layla’s mother, received a message from Layla’s Facebook account. The message, sent by Layla’s boyfriend, asked if Layla was in jail or the hospital, saying he hadn’t seen her in more than 24 hours. Later that night, Layla messaged her mother from the same account, writing, “I’m fine mom,” and adding, “I been with a friend. I don’t have a phone to text or call. I’m using someone else’s.”
 
About two weeks later, a series of strange Cash App requests were sent from Layla’s account to both her stepmother, Brittany Zeitler, and her mother. One request for $100 included the subject line “twlmg.” Several more requests followed in quick succession with the same subject line. Jennifer sent $1 to the account and asked if Layla was okay. As the transactions continued, she came to believe that “twlmg” meant “they won’t let me go.”
 
Another message allegedly read, “We have Layla. She owes a drug debt, and if she doesn’t pay, you’ll find her chopped up into pieces.”
