Take your Italian to the next level with Coffee Break Italian Advanced. Join native speaker Francesca and teacher Mark as they guide you through the intricacies of the language. This podcast is aimed at learners working at B1/B2 level and we'll be covering grammatical structures and topics appropriate to this level. In each episode Mark and Francesca will discuss a language point, and then you'll listen to a dialogue which features examples of the language point, helping you consolidate what you've learned.

Coffee Break Italian Advanced

In this first episode of Coffee Break Italian Season 3, Francesca and Mark explain how Direct Object Pronouns work with simple verbs in the present tense. You'll hear an explanation of the grammar point, then listen to a dialogue in which John, a Scottish student of Italian, is in Siena to improve his language skills. CBI 3.09 | Disjunctive pronouns | Amicizia e musica

We have reached Lesson 10 of Coffee Break Italian Season 3! In this review lesson we look at all of the pronouns covered in Lessons 1 -9: subject pronouns, reflexive pronouns, direct and indirect object pronouns and combined pronouns. We also hear from Silvia, a young girl who has written a journal entry all about a boy in her class, Tommaso, whom she likes. Some interesting phrases to listen out for include una volta per tutte and avere una cotta per. Pronti?

We're back with another episode of Coffee Break Italian Season 3 and another instalment of our story series "Il tesoro di Montespelonca". After the events of the previous episode, Alessandro is still angry with his friends and decides to visit his nonna for lunch in hopes of finally getting to the bottom of the mystery! Alessandro's grandmother reveals another intriguing and possibly dangerous part of the legend surrounding the cave... what will Alessandro do now? In this episode, among other things, you can see a variety of verb moods and tenses and some idioms about la luna.
