EPISODE 136: "The Killing of the Coroner": The Murder of Dr. Joe Smith

In 1979, a well respected doctor and Deputy Coroner in Lancaster unexpectly missed work one Monday morning to the surprise of his staff. Things escalated when he could not be reached the following Tuesday. The upstanding doctor had been brutally murdered in his own bed with no suspects. After over a year of unraveling and building their case, law enforcement finally found their suspect and rocked the Lancaster community.
