Nothing is wrong with me for feeling flat.

I can't remember the last time I felt happy, but that is information, not a verdict.

I have been coping for a long time, and coping is narrow work.

My capacity to feel really happy was never lost — it was simply crowded out.

I am allowed to want more than simply feeling fine.

I do not have to earn the right to feel better.

Today, I will make a little room for happiness.

1. Notice one thing today that was simply not unpleasant — not a joy, not a highlight, just not unpleasant — and let it register for three full seconds.

2. Do one completely ordinary thing more slowly than usual today — a cup of tea, a walk — slowly enough that you're actually inside it while it happens.

3. Say one sentence out loud to one person: "I've been feeling a bit flat lately." Then just stop. No explanation, no apology.

1. The next time the heat arrives, name it out loud in your head — "this is anxiety warming me up" — before you do anything else about it.

2. Do four rounds of the cooling breath at some point today when you're perfectly calm, so your body learns it before you need it.

3. Wear something today with a collar or neckline you don't have to think about — give yourself one less thing to monitor.

Settle in and repeat these gently to yourself:

I can feel this sensation without needing to solve it.

This sensation is uncomfortable, but I do not have to be frightened by every sensation.

I do not need to keep checking my legs.

My jelly legs are a feeling, not a forecast.

I can feel uncertainty without turning it into danger.

My body is allowed to feel strange sometimes.

I do not have to prove that my legs are okay.

 

💡 3 Daily Caring Tips

1. If your legs feel weak or unsteady, give yourself permission to sit down — that's not a failure, that's simply looking after yourself.

2. Name the sensation once — "my legs feel weak" — and then try not to keep checking whether it's changed.

3. When you're ready, move normally and gently — not to test your legs, not to prove anything, just because movement is part of ordinary life.
