Nvidia Corp., the chipmaker at the heart of the artificial intelligence boom, projected sales growth of 70% for the next fiscal year, sending its shares on their biggest one-day rally since April 2025. The company's shares rose 8.7% to $227.98 in New York on Thursday, adding about $442 billion in market value. For more on the markers, we spoke to Sunny Bangia. Nvidia Outlook Boosts Tech Stocks, Warsh's Jackson Hole Debut

Nvidia, the chipmaker at the heart of the artificial intelligence boom, gave a bullish sales outlook for fiscal 2028, easing concerns that AI spending is poised to lose momentum. "We expect to grow revenue by approximately 70% in fiscal 2028," Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress said during a post-earnings conference call. Analysts have projected a rise of about 45% for that year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Moreover, Nvidia would be growing even faster if it had access to more supplies, she said. "Incredibly, we are seeing demand acceleration even at our scale," she said. "Customers' forecasts point to our growth doubling next year." We spoke to Daniel Newman, CEO of The Futurum Group.
 
Nvidia's bullish sales outlook boosted stocks and futures, bolstering optimism that this year's rally in artificial intelligence shares has further to run. Bloomberg's Haidi Stroud-Watts spoke to Sean Darby, Asia Managing Director at Mizuho Securities.

Asian equities declined as investors cut exposure to technology shares ahead of earnings this week that will test confidence in the artificial intelligence trade. The MSCI Asia Pacific equities gauge slipped 0.5%, with South Korean chip bellwethers SK Hynix Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. contributing most to the decline. The losses followed a selloff in semiconductor giants on Wall Street that dragged the Nasdaq 100 Index down nearly 1% on Monday, while Nvidia Corp. posted its longest losing streak since 2022. Chip bellwethers Samsung Electronics Co. and SK Hynix Inc. both declined over 7%, tracking a semiconductor selloff on Wall Street. Kioxia Holdings Corp. plunged 9% in Tokyo. And - Pony AI Inc.'s robotaxi sales reached a quarterly high, now accounting for a third of total revenue, with overseas momentum continuing to accelerate. Overall sales in the second-quarter climbed 69% to $36.2 million, while robotaxi revenue surged to $12.1 million from $1.5 million, according to a Tuesday filing.
