The Face Under the Bed

When a man moves into a new apartment, he senses something is off from the very first night. A presence. A feeling of being watched. And then—he sees it. Through the mirror, a pale, unmoving face staring at him from beneath the bed. Night after night, it returns, always the same blank stare. But when he finally chooses to ignore it, something changes. The bed sinks behind him. A breath grazes his neck. And a voice whispers: “You finally stopped looking.”
