Latest On Baltimore’s Bridge Collapse The staging for work to begin on clearing the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore began over the weekend, with the goal of getting a small section reopened for shipping as the Port of Baltimore remains blocked after a cargo ship last week smashed into the bridge, bringing the entire structure down into the Patapsco River. Correspondent Sagar Meghani reports the salvage operation will be time consuming.
