In 2013, Google executive Forrest Hayes was found dead from a heroin overdose on his yacht. Detectives discovered he was with aspiring model, Alix Tichelman, that night. They also discovered this was not the first time Alix had been with somebody who died of a drug overdose. "48 Hours" correspondent Maureen Maher reports.

The day after she disappeared, her body was found inside the trunk of her car. The lead investigator pursued three innocent people of color while the real killer walked free. Dr. Kirk Turner, a successful dentist, did not dispute that he killed his wife, Jennifer, in 2007. But he claimed he did it in self-defense, after Jennifer first attacked him with a seven-foot spear. At trial, prosecutors argued Turner staged the scene to cover up murder, but conflicting testimony complicated the case. “48 Hours" Correspondent Peter Van Sant reports.
