honestly, i think this is my favorite book in the series… it makes me wonder if i could work in a poly relationship, tho i know the world is not quite like books.. but man, all of this love and stuff was just.. all my yess. As mentioned by another review, there’s tons of cheesy lines, and intern jokes, but i really enjoyed that!

I honestly couldn't finish this book. It has a pan and V poly rec, and I wished to like it, as there's not enough of them out there. But the MC and love interest keep talking in this supposedly quirky(?) pretend romance novel/spy movie way, and while it's fun when you do it with someone as an inside joke, it's hard to read as basically every interaction between the main couple. It becomes ridiculous and annoying. Did they have a single serious conversation? I don't think so, and I quit with only 2hrs left.
