The Mirror and Me: Self-image and motivation

"My name is Ron and I am almost three years old.

When I look at myself in the mirror,

I see hands and feet.

I see a nose and a mouth and a pair of eyes.

I can see a boy who is able to do anything.

But when I run after my older brother,

I fall down and then I get up.

I fall down again and get up again,

and when I run away, he always manages to catch me..."

The book brings an interesting point of view of Ron, almost three years old, that is looking at the mirror and thinks that he can do anything, just like his older brother, but when he tried he does not succeed. But he knows that he will when he will grow up a little more.
