The book might be good for all I know, but the narrator is hopeless. He talks in a low, murmuring way that is hard to hear, specially when there is background noise. He also sounds downright bored and about to fall asleep.

Generally considered to be F. Scott Fitzgerald's finest novel, The Great Gatsby is a consummate summary of the "roaring twenties", and a devastating expose of the "Jazz Age". Through the narration of Nick Carraway, the reader is taken into the superficially glittering world of the mansions which lined the Long Island shore in the 1920s, to encounter Nick's cousin Daisy, her brash but wealthy husband Tom Buchanan, Jay Gatsby and the mystery that surrounds him.

I’m sure the book is great but the voice talks like this:“Sho one shime ochf a plache”It’s impossible to hear and he sounds dead! It feels like he could jumpscare you with his voice at any second.I wanted to enjoy this book and go to bed but of well I would be wide awake terrified of the voice.Thought it was only going to say the introduction but no.Two stars, fix the voice please!

It's a brilliantly thought, lavishly designed, and breathtakingly narrated story in which Fitzgerald show us both sides of a coin. The world is a place where beauty, glamour, money is nothing but fantacy, Where the ultimate truth is destruction, where love is temporary and pain lasts forever.Wealth can bring anything in your feet but it cannot fulfill your dream. Especially when chasing a dream is a bigger dream that you cherish unknowingly. You were this close to see it actualize, you were this close to see it happening, and it slips away, just like that. A life full of extravaganza and a death of desolation. Gatsby's story shakes your ground.
