The Eighth Birthday Wish

First published in July 2014, the book follows a young girl named Sophia who lives in the country of Narthland. While her entire family can sing like sweet angels, Sophia cannot carry a tune. On her eighth birthday, she braves a journey to the cave of the Great Rock Faery to wish for a singing voice. However, when she arrives, she discovers a faerie in an unusual situation and must choose between her own desires and helping someone in need.

The narrator, Hillary Hawkins, is an American actress. She introduced shows such as Dora the Explorer, Bob the Builder, and Little Bill on TV every day as Robyn, Host of the Nick Jr. block. She was also a Host for Radio Disney.
