The Covenant of Evil (The Sherlock Holmes Advent Calendar: The Arrival of the Saviour, Episode 22)
Armed, Holmes and Watson confront the Abbot in his office – but Brother Francis has been expecting them. When he draws a revolver from the sleeve of his habit, the tables turn: Watson feels the Abbot's walking stick, and Holmes has to stake everything on one card. Just as the two seem to have the upper hand again, the door opens … Holmes exposes the "ecumenical covenant of evil", and the Abbot reveals the cruel end he has in store for them – while somewhere in the monastery a fire is soon to blaze. This radio play was produced with the help of Eleven Labs and using properly licensed voice clones, and was checked by human proofreaders.
