Mike Shayne finds strange secrets hidden beneath the cover of a grisly double suicide

It’s 10:30 pm, and Mike Shayne is sipping cognac, ruminating on the perfection of Lucy Hamilton’s fried chicken, when a shotgun fires upstairs.
