Ned lives a quiet life alone in the countryside. At least until his ceiling turns to glistening silver liquid and throws a princess onto his couch. A princess bleeds on his cushion and needs urgent care for a poisoned shrapnel wound.

The princess brings with her an even bigger set of problems. When Ned learns that the prize for saving a princess is pain, slapping a piece of plastic on a sucking chest wound is the lightest burden that falls on his shoulders.
