#3 Stress becomes unhealthy when it exceeds what a person can absorb or benefit from. It is not always easy to prevent calamities, but we can often summon reserves to help our daughter manage the challenges life puts in her path.
#4 There are three types of stress: life events, daily hassles, and chronic stress. Any life event that requires adaptation is inherently stressful. Daily hassles are the result of a major stressor, and they can be difficult to deal with.
