Evelyn Foster has just moved to Granite, Michigan, and at first, the town is just as she expected it to be. Small. Insular. Quiet. On the upside, she gets to spend every day working with her best friend, one of the customers at the local coffee shop was definitely flirting with her, and her two German Shepherds seem to enjoy their new rental house and its fenced back yard. Boring isn’t bad, and life could be worse.
