Silent Gavel: A Fast-paced Whodunit

Lauren Besoner decided it was time to quit running away from life and past mistakes, so when a job opening for a court stenographer came up in Wyoming, she didn't hesitate to pack her bags, leaving Colorado in her rear view mirror.

Crawford, Wyoming was beginning to feel like home once again but that all changed when she discovered Judge Murphy's lifeless body.

Detective Overstreet, fresh on the scene and looking for a quick solve of the murder, believes he's found it in the court stenographer Lauren.

With the detective inching closer and closer to slapping a pair of handcuffs on her, Lauren is forced to do her own investigating. What she learns is that the judge had a few enemies before taking the bench and many more after.

Will the information Lauren uncovers about the judge's past... and learning some of it is intertwined with her own... make it impossible for Lauren to stay in Crawford?

Will the killer grow tired of Lauren's interference and decide it's time for her to be silenced?

Fans of traditional mystery and suspense, and a strong main character, will love Silent Gavel, the first novel in the Crawford Mystery Series.
