Short Bedtime Stories About a Sleepy Puppy: How Ten Minute Sleep Stories for Kids Help Your Child Drift off Before Pip the Puppy Curls up in His Basket

It is already late, your child is still wide awake, and you need a bedtime story that actually ends before you both run out of steam. A chapter book is too long, and the story you invent on the spot never quite lands.

Each story here is a real story with a plot, about ten minutes long, so one story is one night. Every evening Pip the sleepy puppy pads home through his small town while the baker pulls down his shutters, the lamplighter yawns at the top of his ladder, and the ducks settle into the reeds. The pace slows as Pip gets closer to his basket, and the words grow softer until the last sentence trails into quiet. Nothing frightening happens, and no story is left hanging for tomorrow.

Your child hears a familiar friend getting ready for bed and follows him there. Press play, dim the light, and let Pip walk your little one to sleep.
