When Akhila was born, she cried so hard that her face turned purple. The queen was annoyed. A princess wasn’t supposed to cry.

“Your highness! Akhila is a baby. All babies cry as soon as they are born! It shows that they are healthy!” her nurse said.

“Only common babies cry.”

As Akhila grew up, she broke more rules. She kept pets, played with children of shepherds, climbed trees and more.
