Abigail Montgomery’s life is in shambles.

With nothing to lose after her fiancée left her for the church organ player, she takes DeeDee’s advice and joins on the monthly bus ride to the casinos. Losing all her money at the slots and the bartenders, she stumbles out the door to realize the bus left hours ago. Heartbroken and abandoned, she finds herself in the arms and bed of a devilish, dark-haired dapper man.

Dylan “The Devil” Johnson haunts the casinos every weekend, picking up one-night stands and dominating the roulette table. When the curse of the New Jersey Devil comes to life out of season, he finds himself in the need of a fellow Shifter’s advice. He’ll have to find the source and he does: it’s Abigail. Her family heirloom is driving him wild, but her angelic beauty catches him off guard. He aims to both be her savior and rebound, even if it’s just going upstairs to his room for some fun.
