Mille Umbra

When a secret military experiment goes awry and a massive hurricane off the coast of the Carolina's strands Lisa Spencer and her uncle Bruce on an island of nightmares, Lisa is forced to confront her past and her fears in order to escape a living Hell. The Neurotech offshore Testing Facility is home to top secret military experiments in dream control. Dr. Gillian Black leads a team of scientists and programmers as they delve deeper into virtual reality until something goes horribly wrong. That something is comatose patient Thomas Hunter, a once gifted psychic and homicidal maniac. Hunter woke up and his connection to the Mille Umbra allows him to take control of the program and open a doorway releasing a creature that Lisa Spencer knows all too well. This creature feeds on fear and terror and has only one goal; destroy all of mankind! The Mille Umbra has a plan, and for this plan, it needs Lisa, for only she can give birth to a child that would unmake reality.
